A premium-feeling mid-range Xiaomi with an excellent screen, solid cameras, strong battery life and good value, though the telephoto and HyperOS are weak points.

  • Excellent value for money
  • Solid all-round screen colors
  • Unique color options
  • Excellent battery life
  • Snappy performance
  • 2x optical telephoto zoom feels odd
  • No wireless charging
  • No charger in the box in many markets
  • HyperOS takes getting used to
  • Weak AI features compared with Gemini-based rivals

A well-rounded, flagship-feeling phone at a bargain price, but it offers little upgrade over the 14T and lags the Pro.

  • Stylish, slim-bezel design with IP68 rating
  • Solid performance for everyday use
  • Long battery life from 5500mAh cell
  • Decent cameras with Leica-tuned colours
  • Large, bright, high-quality OLED display
  • No macro capability; ultrawide lacks autofocus
  • No wireless charging
  • Telephoto only 2x optical, weaker zoom
  • Display less bright and lower refresh rate than Pro
  • Little upgrade over the predecessor 14T
