What the reviewers said

TechRadar UK

3.5/5Jun 30, 2026

A stylish clamshell with a strong cover screen, great battery life and portrait photos, but it reuses an older chip and offers only three years of OS updates.

  • Long battery life from 4,500mAh cell
  • Large, bright and usable cover display
  • Portrait photos are excellent
  • Sturdier titanium-reinforced hinge
  • Only three years of OS updates
  • Older processor reused from previous generations
  • No telephoto camera
  • Higher price than predecessor

Android Central US

4.25/5May 25, 2026

A nearly identical-looking flip phone with a bigger battery, better cameras, titanium hinge and longer updates, though the price rise and unchanged chip temper it. Still a strong flip choice.

  • Excellent OLED displays with flicker reduction
  • Good daily performance and battery life
  • Titanium hinge improves durability
  • Clean software with long update promise
  • Existing cases and accessories still fit
  • Relatively slow chip for the price
  • Gets fewer updates than the Razr Fold
  • No dedicated AI key
  • $100 price increase
  • Only one color option
