What the reviewers said

Tom's Guide US

3.5/5Aug 7, 2025

The Razr Plus (2025) is nearly identical to last year's model, with the same chip, RAM and battery, so the $999 price is hard to justify beyond the added Moto…

  • Stylish design and color options
  • Bright main display
  • Strong camera performance, including good zoom and low light
  • Useful Moto AI features
  • Same premium build as the Razr Ultra
  • No major hardware changes from last year
  • Battery could be better at 4,000 mAh
  • Could use more AI features
  • Higher price than predecessor with little new hardware

Android Central US

4.25/5Jul 20, 2025

A nearly unchanged flip phone whose standout cover screen, build quality and battery life outweigh a mid-range chip and missing ultrawide camera. Existing Razr Plus 2024 owners need not upgrade.

  • Cover display is excellent and works like a normal phone
  • Excellent build quality and attractive Pantone-certified colors
  • Great battery life and very fast 45W charging
  • Solid camera quality, especially portrait mode
  • Four years of promised software updates
  • Mid-range Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 at a premium price
  • No ultrawide camera, unlike the 2023 model
  • Moto AI features feel half-baked and overrated
  • Looks identical to the 2024 model
