A well-built, powerful ultraportable that gets the fundamentals right without flashy gimmicks. Excellent OLED, keyboard and trackpad, though it lacks an SD reader and has weak speakers.

  • Solid aluminum case with a premium feel
  • Excellent 14-inch 3K OLED touchscreen
  • Great keyboard and haptic trackpad
  • Plenty of ports including USB-C, USB-A, HDMI
  • Fast performance with high-end Intel Core Ultra X9
  • No SD card reader
  • Only dual downward-firing speakers
  • Battery life falls short of HP's claims
  • Top chip and RAM configurations add significant cost
