A cheap, good-looking laptop whose poor screen, trackpad, speakers, webcam and slow chip make it hard to recommend.
Priced at $449
Lots of ports for a small laptop
Good battery life, up to about 10 hours
Backlit keyboard that is fine to type on
Aluminum build
Poor screen: washed out, dim, 64% sRGB
Stiff, awful trackpad that flexes the chassis
Tinny speakers and low-res 720p webcam
Sluggish Intel Core 3 304 performance
8GB RAM limits multitasking; long-term support concerns
